Askia Booker (#0 pictured) lifted the Colorado Buffaloes with an astonishing buzzer beater shot over the Kansas Jayhawks. In what was a closely contested game throughout, it was only fitting for an ending such as this.

The Buffaloes had four players in double-figures with Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie leading the team with 15  points each. Dinwiddie also dished out a team high of 7 assists. Despite shooting a mere 41.1% compared to the Jayhawks 52.9%, the Buffaloes were able to get to the free line often where they cashed in 22 points.

The Buffaloes will certainly be ranked come Monday, as they now carry a solid 9-1 record with the impressive victory over the Kansas Jayhawks. Wins over Harvard, Colorado St., and Wyoming should be factors on their Resume as well come March.

Next up is the Elon Phoenix, but I’m sure the Colorado Buffaloes will be looking ahead to their next game against another ranked foe in the Oklahoma St. Cowboys.
