The SEC tournament is a go, with the 12th seeded Mississippi St. Bulldogs currently playing the 13th seeded Auburn Tigers. The winner faces the 5th seeded Texas A&M Aggies. The other game today is the 11th seeded South Carolina Gamecocks taking of the 14th seeded Missouri Tigers, with the winner playing the the 6th seeded Mississippi Rebels. To be fair, it’s hard to keep writing about any other team then the eventual champion of this tournament, the Kentucky Wildcats. While only a handful of teams have challenged them, it’s been a rare occurrence. Believe it or not, the Columbia Lions have played the Wildcats better than a majority of the SEC teams. They are obviously the number one team in the nation, undefeated at 31-0 and I see no signs of that ending in this tournament.

The prediction is obvious, which is why this write-up is going to be very brief. The Kentucky Wildcats will win the SEC tournament with ease, further cementing their number one status, as well as keeping the “Perfect season” alive. The question is will this not as good in previous years Southeastern Conference affect the Wildcats come NCAA tournament time? Wrote that up in all one breath…
